Västergötland and Lake Vänern – Photo-gallery.

Are you a rambling and nature-lover? Have you been feeling like you needed to get away lately? Västergötland Province, in Sweden, has it all.

Endless hiking trials, one of Europe’s biggest lakes, safaris, canoeing and fishing spots, a Royal Hunt Museum – you name it. Its location, a 45 minutes train ride from Gothenburg, makes it a perfect escapade.

Unfortunately for us, we just had a few hours and we decided to spend them in Vänersborg, leisurely strolling lakeside. This is our photo-gallery.

That wooden walkway between tall grasses (is that a dock?) looks like it will lead to a magical place. Awesome photos! 😊

Yep, it is a dock. Thanks, what I wanted to achieve by choosing that as a cover pic was to invite the reader to check out the post. I’m glad you liked it ☺️
